Guillermo Robles
Head of Development Engineer
Guillermo joined Atlas in December 2022. He has been in the renewable energy industry for over 18 years and has experience in wind, solar, and BESS. He helped develop over 3 GW into construction and led multiple M&A due diligence processes, resulting in the acquisition of multiple projects and portfolios.
Prior to joining Atlas, he led wind engineering and wind procurement at Clearway Energy where he helped develop and procure over 2 GW of new and repowered wind projects. He also worked at SunEdison where he managed wind assessment globally and at FirstWind where he led wind and solar energy assessment, plant design, and operational analytics.
Guillermo has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems and Technology from Loughborough University in the UK.
