Atlas Renewable Energy powers 5 GW of contracted projects in construction or operational stages across its offices in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil.
Javiera is one of the most iconic private PPAs signed in Chile for a solar plant. The project sells energy to Minera los Pelambres, one of the largest copper mines in Chile managed by Antofagasta Minerals. It was commissioned in May 2015.
Located some 30 minutes away from the city, Quilapilun was the first project built near Chile’s Metropolitan. It was a project that was awarded in the first regulated tender accommodating the entry of Renewable Energy. It was commissioned in March 2017.
Located in Chile’s Antofagasta region, Sol del Desierto is Atlas’ third solar plant in the country to become fully operational. The plant was commissioned in March of 2022, and it will supply ENGIE Energia with solar power for the next 15 years.
Located in three different regions of Chile, the Alpaca Eolic Portfolio is under development and holds a Corporate PPA with Enel Generación Chile.
Shangri-La was acquired by Atlas Renewable Energy in early 2024 and is currently under development.
Previously known as Juazeiro Solar plant, this project started operations beginning of 2019.
São Pedro project was inaugurated in January 2019 and is under operation since December 2018.
Casablanca is operating and holds a Corporate PPA with Anglo American Plc.
The Boa Sorte solar plant is currently under development and holds a Corporate PPA with ALBRAS Aluminio Brasileiro S/A.
The Vista Alegre solar plant is under development and holds a Corporate PPA with ALBRAS Aluminio Brasileiro S/A.
The Luiz Carlos solar plant is under development and holds a Corporate PPA with Votorantim Cimentos.
La Pimienta project is currently in operation. It reached COD end of 2022.
El Naranjal project was awarded a PPA under the first tender round held in 2014 by UTE specifically for solar PV projects. It was commissioned in May 2017.
Litoral project was awarded a PPA under the first tender round held in 2014 by UTE specifically for solar PV projects. It was commissioned in May 2017.
